At The Cure Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Centre, B2/18, Safdarjung Enclave, New Delhi, we offer specialized physiotherapy for tennis elbow (lateral epicondylitis), focusing on pain relief, strengthening, and functional recovery. Tennis elbow, caused by overuse of forearm muscles, often results in pain and tenderness around the elbow. Our treatment begins with pain management techniques, such as ice therapy, ultrasound, or electrotherapy, to reduce inflammation. We then introduce gentle stretching exercises for the wrist extensors to improve flexibility and reduce muscle tightness. As recovery progresses, we incorporate strengthening exercises, particularly eccentric movements, to restore muscle strength and tendon health. Manual therapy, including soft tissue massage and joint mobilization, helps relieve tension and improve mobility. We also guide patients on activity modification, proper ergonomics, and technique to prevent further strain. Depending on the severity, we may apply kinesiology tape or recommend bracing for additional support. For chronic cases, shockwave therapy may be used to promote healing. Our rehabilitation program is tailored to gradually return patients to their daily activities or sports, ensuring long-term recovery and preventing recurrence.
