There is probably nothing as frustrating as not being able to fit into your old clothes. When 39-year-old Rujuta realised that she had gained a lot of weight, she felt really dejected. -

Sometimes I think we way over complicate things. Not just with fitness but with everything.

There always seems to be the “latest and greatest” something out there that will make things easier, faster, and more”fun”.

SHIPRA WEIGHT LOSS STORY: I Lost 15 Kgs in 3 months WITHOUT any WORKOUT

Sure, losing weight is about the right mix of a balanced diet and working out, but for Shipra, who could easily eat up to 1000 calories in a single meal, it was about altering his diet. Her weight touched a whopping 70 kilos and she started to feel ashamed of the way she looked and then, she changed things for the better, merely by tweaking her diet.

The turning point: I had a wedding in my family of one of my close relatives. I was left with a tussle in my mind – I really wanted to go and have fun but I was embarrassed of the way I looked back then. The worst part about weight is that it pulls your self-confidence down and at 70 kilos, I was ashamed of how I looked. And so, I missed the wedding. That’s when I promised myself that I will not remain like this.

My workout: I didn’t work out at all. My weight loss was only a result of dieting and nothing else. My problem was that my calorie intake was a lot more than recommended and the challenge was to control that.

Weight loss story: The journey to weight loss is not an easy one and any person battling extra kilos can tell you the immense struggle behind it. When 23-year-old Shonali Nain decided to lose weight and get back in shape, it was certainly not easy. Her journey is the weight loss inspiration if you need one today.
