I had the previlege of sharing the various techniques of performing Robotic primary Ventral/Umbilical Hernias (TAPP ,IPOM-PLUS, TARM/TARUP) with surgeons enrolled for the prestigious “FALS HERNIA DELHI 2024”.
I wish to express my sincere thanks to Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endosurgeons (IAGES) and Fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery (FALS) board to have invited me as faculty.
Many congratulations to Dr Wadhawan and his team for organising an excellent academic program.
Interacting with fellow surgeons at various stages of their surgical journey is an exciting experience. The value addition created by such programs conducted by IAGES goes a long way toward shaping safer surgeons and result in improved quality of surgical practice for the patients. In my experience use of Robotics as a tool in hernia surgery adds magnification enhances vision and improves dexterity thereby takes the art and science of minimally invasive surgery to a whole new level.
