💊Antidote for Pollution💊

Recipe 

1. 🍋 2 Whole Lemon(with peel)
2. 🫚 2 tbsp Ginger (grated or julienne)
3. 🌶️ 5-6 Green Chillies (chopped)
4.🧂1 tsp Salt
5. 🫙2 tsp Nigella Seeds (kalonji)

How to make it?
Mix all ingredients and let it sit for 2 days to be ready to eat.

How to consume?
Take 1 tsp everyday twice with meals as an accompaniments for dal-rice, khichdi, paratha,curd-rice,chapati or anything you like...

Benefits:

1.Lemon 🍋 brings VITAMIN C for its antioxidant properties and peel has D-limonene which helps in fighting free radicals.
2. Ginger🫚 clearly wins from ages for its anti-inflammatory and anti viral properties.
3. Green chillies 🌶️are anti-bacterial and helpful in Green chillies have phytonutrients that help relax the respiratory passage thereby reducing the likelihood of developing lung cancer and lung-related issues such as asthma, cold and cough.
4.Salt🧂 is helpful in electrolyte balance, and can use different varieties to add more minerals.
5.Nigella Seeds🫙 can be particularly beneficial for conditions that cause inflammation in the lungs, such as asthma.

Environment comprises of our external health factors and hence it is our responsibility and duty to put effort to keep it clean and healthy.

Theme of the year is to beat plastic pollution and hence restoring the ecosystem.

We can take few steps to contribute in the cause just by consciously choosing better in day to day life like:

1.Do not encourage plastic bags and always carry my bag for shopping.

2.Carry a glass water bottle instead of buying plastic bottles during daily travel.

3.Choose recyclable packaging material and dispose as per guidelines.

4.Pack your lunch in steel or glass containers.

5.Ditch plastic cutlery and keep your travel cutlery set in your bag.

These are few things that I personally take care to minimise use of plastic in my day to day practice.

Share your ideas and encourage everyone on how you contribute to protect your health and environment.

Use of plastic is directly impacting our health and ingestion of micro plastic is causing various health issues.

Try to go fresh and say no to packages and processed foods to improve health and environment.
