What if I told you that growth doesn’t always look like a big “aha” moment in the therapy room?

Sometimes it looks like crying without apologizing.
Catching yourself before spiraling.
Resting without guilt.
Setting a shaky boundary anyway.

These are the wins clients often overlook.
But as a therapist, I see them for what they are deep, quiet, sustainable change.

This post is your reminder:
Just because it’s not dramatic doesn’t mean it’s not growth.
You’re doing better than you think.

Save this for the days when you feel like you're going backwards.

Spoiler: you're not.

So many of our wounds are relational - and so is our healing.

Relational therapy doesn’t just help you talk about your patterns, it helps you experience something different: safety, repair, and connection.

In time, those experiences begin to reshape how you relate - not just to others, but to yourself.

The internet will tell you your childhood trauma can be fixed with a smoothie and a candle.

But healing is not a vibe, it’s a process.
One that’s messy, non-linear, and sometimes looks like crying while doing your taxes.

This post isn’t here to judge your crystal collection or your morning affirmations.
It’s here to say: if you’re feeling stuck, it’s not because you’re doing healing wrong.
It’s because real healing needs more than a viral quote and a scented bath.

If someone shares that they’re ADHD, autistic, or neurodivergent — it’s not an invitation for debate, diagnosis, or denial.
It’s a chance to listen, learn, and not make it weird.

So many of us are walking around with younger versions of ourselves still aching to be seen, heard, and held.
Sometimes it shows up in the smallest ways: a flinch when someone raises their voice, the urge to apologize for existing, or a blank where childhood memories should be.

As therapists, we often meet these younger selves in the therapy room even when our clients don’t yet have words for them.

That’s where inner child work becomes powerful.

And if you’ve ever wondered how to bring it into your practice gently, ethically, skillfully - this training is for you.

🛋️ The Revised Training for Inner Child Work Cohort 2
🎓 Starts July 7 | Mondays and Thursdays, 8-9.30 PM IST

Some stories heal.
Some stories awaken.
Some stories give you back to yourself.

Reading The Kiss Quotient by helped me realise I was on the autistic spectrum — something years of wondering, therapy, and reading hadn’t yet made clear.

Representation — even in fiction — matters. It shapes how we see ourselves, how we understand others, and how we create spaces for neurodivergent voices and experiences.

Especially for adult women whose autism often goes unrecognised, misdiagnosed, or masked — stories like this are vital.

If this resonates with you, I’ve shared a few more books in the carousel that you may want to explore.

If you’ve ever had a book/series change how you see yourself, I'd love to hear.

Therapy isn’t just about processing the past — it’s about noticing what happens between us right now.

Our Consultant Psychologist, Ria shares how relational work helps us understand how we show up with others by paying attention to how we show up with our therapist.

Because the relationship itself isn’t just the backdrop — it is the work.

The new moon invites stillness — a chance to pause, reflect, and plant intentions for the cycle ahead.

This month’s new moon in Cancer brings themes of emotional safety, self-nurturing, home, and connection. 🌊

When we move in tune with nature’s cycles, we also honour the rhythms of our own bodies and emotions.
Intention setting is a gentle act of listening — one that helps us move forward with more clarity and care.

Swipe through for reflective prompts you can use to journal, meditate, or simply sit with during this new moon phase 🌑🖋️

Some parts want to cry.
Some parts want to colour.
Some parts just want to survive.

Inner child work isn’t about picking sides — it’s about making space for all of them.

To the neurodivergent q***r folx who’ve felt Pride was too loud, too bright, too much:
This day is for you.

For the ones who unmask in quiet corners, stim with sequins, find gender in nuance, and build rituals of joy that don’t always look like a parade.

Neurodivergent Pride Day reminds us:
✨You don’t have to perform pride to belong✨
Your way of being is valid. Your brain is not broken. Your q***rness doesn’t need glitter to shine.

Whether you’re celebrating with fidgets, flapping, infodumps, or naps—
you are deeply seen. You are radically enough.

Happy Neurodivergent Pride Day, loves 🌈
Your pride gets to look like you.

This June — between rainbow flags, burnt toast breakfasts and mental health campaigns — we invite a quieter revolution.

One where fathers cry. Where q***r men raise children with softness. Where masculinity makes room for uncertainty.

One where healing is fatherhood too.

Save, share, or tag someone rewriting what it means to be a man.

What "Her" (2013) warned us about wasn’t AI. It was disconnection.

Real love, real therapy, even, is messy.
We bring our full selves: wounds, fears, histories. And someone meets us there.

But AI doesn't bring its wounds.
It mirrors yours.

That’s not bad. But it isn’t growth either.

Let’s keep choosing each other—messy, evolving, unfinished.

What stayed with you after watching "Her"?
Let’s talk in the comments.
