It offers equitable and affordable eye care to the masses. Established in 1922 by Dr. Sorabji P. Shroff, ๐’๐‚๐„๐‡ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐œ๐ž๐ฅ๐ž๐›๐ซ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ข๐ญ๐ฌ ๐œ๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ง๐ง๐ข๐š๐ฅ. As of today, ๐’๐‚๐„๐‡ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐จ๐ง๐ž ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ญ๐จ๐ฉ 10 ๐ž๐ฒ๐ž ๐œ๐š๐ซ๐ž ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐ฏ๐ข๐๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ ๐ข๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐œ๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐ญ๐ซ๐ฒ. In the last decade, SCEH treated ๐ฆ๐จ๐ซ๐ž ๐ญ๐ก๐š๐ง 4.4 ๐ฆ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐ฉ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ and performed ๐ฆ๐จ๐ซ๐ž ๐ญ๐ก๐š๐ง 300,000 ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ ๐ž๐ซ๐ข๐ž๐ฌ. As a not-for-profit, its board mandates that at least 50% of its surgery is non-paying or highly subsidized. Based in Delhi, ๐’๐‚๐„๐‡ ๐ก๐š๐ฌ 7 ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ ๐ข๐œ๐š๐ฅ ๐œ๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ฆ๐จ๐ซ๐ž ๐ญ๐ก๐š๐ง 50 ๐ฏ๐ข๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐œ๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ across Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. Across all levels of care, it employs more than 1,000 professionals. Itโ€™s one of the ๐Ÿ๐ข๐ซ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐€๐๐‡-๐š๐œ๐œ๐ซ๐ž๐๐ข๐ญ๐ž๐ ๐ก๐จ๐ฌ๐ฉ๐ข๐ญ๐š๐ฅ๐ฌ ๐ข๐ง ๐ƒ๐ž๐ฅ๐ก๐ข, adheres to all quality standards and protocols, and offers standard eye care and ENT services. The department of Pediatric Ophthalmology of Dr Shroffโ€™s Charity Eye Hospital hosted the 7th grand rounds of the ๐๐ž๐๐ข๐š๐ญ๐ซ๐ข๐œ ๐Ž๐ฉ๐ก๐ญ๐ก๐š๐ฅ๐ฆ๐จ๐ฅ๐จ๐ ๐ฒ, ๐’๐ญ๐ซ๐š๐›๐ข๐ฌ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ฌ & ๐๐ž๐ฎ๐ซ๐จ-๐จ๐ฉ๐ก๐ญ๐ก๐š๐ฅ๐ฆ๐จ๐ฅ๐จ๐ ๐ฒ ๐’๐จ๐œ๐ข๐ž๐ญ๐ฒ (๐๐Ž๐’๐) on 20th and 21st September 2025.
