A prescription is not for ever, people get dependent on prescription drugs as they start using it for self medication, All medicines have potential adverse impacts on body and mind. Today I saw a patient taking medicines prescribed from IHBAS 10 years back. His suffering has not lessened over these years, he did not like to have a consultation which was available to him free of cost from IHBAS.

Many a times people criticize diagnosis of a psychiatric disorder as labelling and stigmatizing. Many patients are in therapy for years without a diagnosis, no one tells them it seems.
Many time when they are given a diagnosis they feel found.
