This patient had been struggling with a deviated septum for a long time.

As visible in the pre-surgery photos, she had a prominent dorsal hump that not only affected her nasal structure but also led to significant breathing difficulties. In addition, the appearance of her nose was not in harmony with her facial features, which affected her confidence.

She conducted extensive research and consulted multiple doctors, including an ENT specialist. During her search for a rhinoplasty expert, she came across Dr. Monisha Kapoor and decided to consult her. After a detailed evaluation of her medical history, Dr. Monisha assured her that the dorsal hump and deviated septum could be corrected successfully. A 3D nose simulation was also shown to help her visualize the expected results post-surgery.

The surgery was performed smoothly, and when her cast was removed just 10 days later, our beautiful patient was extremely happy with her transformed nose. Not only has her breathing improved significantly, but the aesthetic outcome of the nose also matched her expectations perfectly.

Tissue Expansion is a procedure performed to promote the growth of healthy supplementary skin used for the replacement of damaged skin. The skin has an incredible ability to stretch and expand, making tissue expansion a viable option for patients with burns.
In this particular patient, we used the tissue expansion technique for burn scars in the cheek and upper neck area. Expansion of the local skin allows him to obtain very large local flaps and the replacement of the scar tissue with good skin for color and texture. It is useful to obtain good results. We also did a beard hair transplant for him.

This particular patient had a very thick, bulbous nasal skin, and she always desired a more defined, slim, and sharp nasal tip. She had consulted several rhinoplasty surgeons in the past, but was repeatedly told that achieving a sharp nose with such thick skin was not possible.
