This is my ‘I miss the mountains’ post.
Dharamkot was the first and the only place I wanted to go to after the lockdown last year. Thanks to and for being the best possible company ✨
It was the first time I drove to the mountains. An eleven hour drive didn’t feel like a task at all! Maybe bcs I was inching closer to the the place I absolutely love and cherish. People who’ve been to Dharamkot or have lived there would totally agree with me on this- it’s a very special place. I’ve been going there every year since 2015, I really thought it wouldn’t happen in 2020 but it did and I am so glad.
Dharamkot has something. You can’t put your finger on it but it’s there. You can only feel it. It’s quite amazing how some places can make you feel a certain way. Just like people. And that’s what you remember at the end of the day. That lingering feeling, which becomes even more beautiful in nostalgia. Whatever that feeling is, it fills me up with joy. I can’t wait to go back to this spot I call mine! 🤍

I feel we all have that place we keep going back to and never get tired of!
Do you have one? I’d love to know :)

Cat-Cow
One of the most essential and excellent movements for the spine.

🌊 Inhale: moving from the pelvis, lifting the ribcage up, dropping the belly down

🌊 Exhale: rounding the spine dropping the head down looking towards the navel

🌊Try to focus on each part of the spine individually (lower, middle and upper back) and feel the movement as it goes through all these.

Balance in yoga.
Balance in yoga asana. And balance in life.
We’ve heard so many times everyone talking about how balance is the key.
All these poses teach us that. First in our physical bodies then in our mental bodies. First one the mat and then off the mat! Both as a practitioner and a teacher.
Achieving balance through my practice is how I look at it.
And you?

How to do a bakasana?

I’ve always struggled with arm balances due to the lack of strength in the upper body 🤷🏽‍♀️
I still struggle with it, just accepted it’s a work in progress 😅
