Last week, I had the honour of conducting a 5-day wellness workshop for GRID India – Ministry of Power.
It was more than just a session on diet — we deep-dived into the gut, food rhythm, understanding the body’s signals, and unlearning the diet myths we’ve been fed for decades.

I spoke about how the gut is not just about digestion — it’s the epicentre of our physical, emotional, and metabolic health. We explored how we eat rather than just what we eat, tuning into circadian rhythms, satiety cues, and the body’s real-time feedback system.

✨ What stood out to me most was the level of curiosity and the yearning for clarity.
So many participants said:
– “I tried intermittent fasting but now I feel tired all the time.”
– “I cut out all grains, but my sugar still spikes.”
– “I lost weight on keto but gained back double.”
– “I’m doing everything right but still feel off.”

It reaffirmed something I always say — people are not lazy or careless, they’re just misinformed or overwhelmed.
Some have tried quick fixes only to realize they’ve harmed their metabolism and gut in the process. Others are navigating confusing advice from social media, internet, relatives, and influencers — all pointing in different directions.

These sessions reminded me how powerful simple, science-backed guidance can be when delivered with empathy. The kind that helps people rebuild health from the inside out — not chase symptom relief.

Feeling grateful for the opportunity to bring this message into institutional spaces where real change is possible — not just for individuals, but for entire communities.
