Itching, Redness or irritation in your eyes?
✅ Allergies:
-Apply cool compresses to reduce inflammation.
-Use over-the-counter antihistamine eye drops to reduce itching. Consider oral antihistamines if eye drops aren't enough.
✅ Dry Eyes:
-Use artificial tears to lubricate your eyes.
-Consider using a humidifier to add moisture to the air, especially at night.
✅ Contact Lenses:
-Remove your contacts and wear glasses for a while to give your eyes a break.
-Ensure you're cleaning your contacts properly and following the recommended wearing schedule.
✅ Eye Infections (Bacterial or Viral):
-See a doctor for diagnosis and prescription eye drops or medication.
-Avoid using leftover eye drops from previous infections.
✅ Blepharitis:
-Gently clean your eyelids with a warm compress and a mild cleanser recommended by your doctor.
-Sometimes, warm compresses alone can provide relief.
