बार-बार टॉन्सिल क्यों होते हैं? | Tonsil Problem Explained
In today’s video, Dr. Ankur Vats explains a very common question —
“Can tonsils be treated at home?”

Many people believe that tonsil problems can always be managed with home remedies like warm salt water gargles, hot fluids, and rest. Dr. Ankur Vats clarifies that if these measures control your symptoms and give relief, that is absolutely fine. In fact, many patients do feel better with proper home care.

However, the problem starts when tonsil infections keep coming back again and again, or when home remedies and medicines no longer provide lasting relief. Recurrent throat pain, fever, difficulty in swallowing, and repeated infections are signs that you may need to think about a permanent solution.

In such cases, tonsillectomy (tonsil surgery) can be the most effective long-term treatment. After proper ENT evaluation, surgery can significantly reduce infections and improve overall quality of life.

👉 Don’t rely only on myths or temporary solutions.
👉 Repeated tonsil problems need expert ENT assessment.

कान में रुई डालना कितना खतरनाक | Ear Itching Mistakes Explained
In today’s video, Dr. Ankur Vats, Senior ENT Specialist at Vats ENT Centre, explains a very common but dangerous habit many people follow when they feel itching in the ear.

Most people put cotton soaked in oil inside the ear to relieve itching. This is completely wrong and unsafe. In this case, a patient visited our OPD after the cotton went deep inside the ear and got stuck near the eardrum, which could have caused serious damage if not treated on time.

Dr. Ankur Vats clearly explains that ear itching is often caused by dandruff, fungal infection, allergy, or ear canal dryness, and not every itching problem should be treated at home. Without identifying the correct cause, inserting cotton, pins, or earbuds into the ear can lead to infection, injury to the eardrum, or hearing problems.

This video is for educational and awareness purposes. If you or your child experiences ear itching, pain, discharge, or blockage, do not try home remedies. Always consult a qualified ENT doctor for proper diagnosis and safe treatment.

टॉन्सिल के बाद खाना बंद? | What Children Can Eat After Treatment
In today’s video, we are addressing one of the most common fears among parents — “Will my child be unable to eat after tonsil treatment?”
The truth is, this belief is completely wrong.

After tonsil treatment, cold foods are actually recommended, especially in the initial recovery period. Cold items like ice cream, cold curd, cold milk, jelly, cold drinks, and even cold water help reduce throat pain, swelling, and discomfort. These foods soothe the throat and make swallowing easier for children.

However, certain foods must be strictly avoided during the first few days. Hard, crunchy, or sharp foods such as toasted bread, biscuit corners, hard rotis, chips, and spicy or oily food can irritate the throat and delay healing.

For the first 3–4 days, soft foods are ideal. Normal-temperature foods like dalia, khichdi, kheer, sevai, and mashed meals are safe and are usually eaten comfortably by children. Hot tea, hot milk, and spicy foods should be avoided for at least 1–2 weeks to allow proper healing.

👉 With the right diet and guidance, children recover smoothly and can eat comfortably after tonsil treatment.
