🌍 World Diabetes Day 2025, November 14
With our aim to promote self-management of Non-Communicable Diseases, FHTS conducted Swasthya Pahal at three different locations- Delhi, Haryana, and Uttarakhand on November 14, 2025.
Venues:
Police Station, Naraina, New Delhi
Sudha Rustagi College of Dental Sciences and Research Campus, Faridabad, Haryana
Gurudwara, Kanwali Road, Dehradun, Uttarakhand
These camps feature SMAART PHIK (Portable Health Information Kiosk) - a digital health intervention designed to screen and empower individuals for self-management of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs).
💡Over 18,000 beneficiaries from diverse communities and geographic settings have already been reached through this initiative.
This innovative solution has been conceptualized, designed, and developed by Dr. Ashish Joshi, PhD, MBBS, MPH
We would like to thank our collaborators, Sudha Rustagi College of Dental Sciences and Research | and Government Doon Medical College. Grateful to Delhi Police, especially to Police Station, Naraina, New Delhi, for joining hands with us to commemorate this day.
💡FHTS has conducted 135+ Swasthya Pahal camps in police facilities across New Delhi since 2016.
We also appreciate the efforts of Raisha Saini and Dr. Udipta Kashyap (students of Sudha Rustagi College of Dental Sciences and Research pursuing Fundamentals of Operational Research in Public Health at FHTS) for volunteering in this Public Health day commemoration at their college campus.
