My day starts with my kriya which I have learnt from different gurus , organisations and scriptures.
Through the phenomenal journey of my yoga practice, I have learnt varied range of kriyas which I have narrowed down for my day to day routine.
I start my sequence with naad yoga which includes elaborated chanting of aum.
Aum is the fundamental sound in our physical existence. It's an amalgamation of three sounds, aaaa oooo mmmm....these 3 sounds are capable of touching all the 72000 nadis in a human body and activates the whole system.
After the naad yoga, I chant Patanjali shloka to show gratitude to the great sage Patanjali who wrote the Patanjali yoga sutra, a classical yoga text for the world.
After chanting Patanjali shloka, I do a full body stretch for 10 minutes to warm up my body.
This process is further Followed by 21 rounds of surya namaskar which has several health benefits. one cycle of surya namaskar consists of 8 asans and 12 steps to complete.
Surya namaskar involves a lot of spinal movement sequence to make the spine more active.
With each cycle of inhalation and exhilaration, the lungs and blood remain thoroughly oxygenated and body gets detoxified. It also brings down the sugar level and keeps heart diseases away.it also boosts the blood circulation in our body and simultaneously aids in giving better and healthy skin.
After surya namaskar ,I practice 7 asans designed for over all health system such as nervous system, digestive system and takes care of all the organs of the body.
After these asnas , I rest in shavasan for 2 minutes to reenergize my body for further kriyas
By resting in shavasan I prepare my body for Sudarshan kriya. it is basically a combination of different kinds of breath exercises(pranayam) which takes care of my mental health.
finally I end my kriya with a 10 minutes anapan meditation. It make me aware to be in present.
