It is not everyday that you get to spend hours interacting with with the iconic names of healthcare industry like *Dr. Vivek Vij* & *Dr. Z.S. Meherwal*
At a special interaction session organized by *Fortis Escorts Hospital* & *Al Hayat Medical Tourism*, a team of approximately 25 partners had a very fruitiful and open discussion session with Dr. Vivek Vij. Dr. Vij explained in great detail not just about all common queries & issues related to transplant, but also about causes & risk factors of liver damage and many other factors. He was extremely jovial and supportive throughout and offered all assistance needed to kickstart work.
This was followed by a session with Director of Pediatric Cardiac Surgry, *Dr. Gaurav Kumar* who also took us through various aspects of Pediatric Cardiac surgery and many of his remarkable accomplishments.
Finally we had an amazing session with Dr. Z.S. Meherwal, who ofcourse, needs no introduction. Over a span of more than an hour, Dr. Meherwal discussed on all aspects of Heart Surgeries & Heart Transplants. A considerable amount of discussion also happened around Ventricular Assist Devices (VADs) which are alternative to Heart Transplants and where Dr. Meherwal and team have remarkable competence.
