Cleft lip and palate is the second most common birth defect and the most common birth defect on the face. it occurs due to non fusion of normal facial structures at the time of pregnancy. it can occur on one side of the face or on both it can also occur inside the mouth creating a communication between the oral and the nasal cavity. Children with Cleft lip have a huge psycosocial issue and never

leave their homes never attend school are unable to speak properly. In India there 1 in every 700 live birth is a cleft lip or palate and most of the are not operated due to poor financial condition. We at Dr. T.N.Sabharwal health care trust help such children to get back into society by providing them with free facial cosmetic surgery .
