🚀 First Indian to the ISS!
From carrying rockets on bullock carts and bicycles…
to reaching the International Space Station —
India proves that no dream is too big with the right mindset. 🌍🇮🇳
Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla, an Indian Air Force officer, has become the first Indian to reach the ISS as part of an international space mission with astronauts from the US, Poland, and Hungary.
📍 He launched on June 25, 2025 from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center aboard SpaceX’s Crew Dragon, representing India’s growing role in global space exploration.
🌱 Captain Shubhanshu Shukla will also conduct 7 Indian scientific experiments aboard the ISS, including studies on microalgae and superfoods — boosting India's contribution to space research.
