১২ বছৰতকৈও অধিক সময় ধৰি ভাৰত পলিঅ’ মুক্ত আৰু ২০১৪ চনৰ ২৭ মাৰ্চত ভাৰতে পলিঅ’ মুক্ত প্ৰমাণপত্ৰ লাভ কৰাটো এক বৃহৎ সাফল্য। আমাৰ চুবুৰীয়া কিছুমান দেশকে ধৰি বিশ্বজুৰি Wild পলিঅ’-ভাইৰাছৰ সংক্ৰমণে শিশুসকলক প্ৰভাৱিত কৰি আহিছে, যাৰ ফলত সংক্ৰমণৰ আশংকা বৃদ্ধি পাইছে। ভাৰত চৰকাৰে ডিব্ৰুগড় জিলাকে ধৰি উচ্চ অগ্ৰাধিকাৰ জিলাসমূহত ২০২৪ চনৰ ৮ ডিচেম্বৰ, (দেওবাৰ) তাৰিখে উপ ৰাষ্ট্ৰীয় প্ৰতিষেধক দিৱস (SNID) অনুষ্ঠিত কৰাৰ সিদ্ধান্ত গ্ৰহণ কৰিছে। এছ এন আই ডিত বুথ কভাৰেজ আৰু তাৰ পিছত ৫ বছৰ বয়সলৈকে শিশুক পলিঅ’ ড্ৰপ প্ৰদানৰ কাৰ্যসূচী ঘৰে ঘৰে দিয়াটো অন্তৰ্ভুক্ত কৰা হৈছে। ইয়াৰ লগত সংগতি ৰাখি ২০২৪ চনৰ ৩০ নৱেম্বৰ তাৰিখে ডাঃ জন বেৰী হোৱাইট চেমিনাৰ হলত অতিৰিক্ত জিলা উপায়ুক্ত (স্বাস্থ্য)ৰ অধ্যক্ষতাত প্ৰথম জিলা টাস্ক ফ’ৰ্চ (DTF) ৰ বৈঠকত স্বাস্থ্য সেৱাৰ যুটীয়া সঞ্চালক অতিৰিক্ত মুখ্য চিকিৎসা আৰু স্বাস্থ্য বিষয়া (পৰিয়াল কল্যাণ), শিশু আৰু সামূহিক চিকিৎসা বিভাগৰ প্ৰতিনিধি, এ এম চি এইচ, ব্লক পি এইচ চি আৰু অন্যান্য লাইন বিভাগৰ প্ৰতিনিধিৰ উপস্থিতিত অনুষ্ঠিত হৈ যায়। সমগ্ৰ কাৰ্যসূচীয়ে ১১২৭ সংখ্যক টিকাকৰণ বুথত ৫ বছৰ বয়সলৈকে প্ৰায় ৩৪২৪ জন স্বাস্থ্য কৰ্মীৰ সহযোগিতাৰে ১,৯৩,৯৩১ জন হিতাধিকাৰীক সামৰি লৈ অহা ৮ ডিচেম্বৰ, ২০২৪ (দেওবাৰ)তাৰিখে পূৰ্ণ প্ৰস্তুতিৰ উক্ত কাৰ্যসূচী ৰূপায়ন কৰিবলৈ লোৱা হৈছে।
India has been polio-free for more than 12 years and the Polio-free certification of India on 27th March 2014 is a huge accomplishment. Transmission of wild Polio-Virus continues to affect children globally, including in some of our neighboring countries, raising the risk of importation. Govt. of India has decided to conduct Sub National Immunization Day (SNID) of 2024 on 8th December 2024, (Sunday) in the high priority districts including Dibrugarh district. The SNID includes booth coverage followed by house-to-house activities for administering polio drops to children up to 5 years of age. The First District Task force Meeting was held on 30th November 2024 at Dr. John Berry White Seminar Hall under the chairmanship of Addl District Commissioner (Health) in presence of Joint Director of Health Services, Addl. Chief Medical & Health Officer (FW), representative from department of Pediatrics and Community Medicine, AMCH, representative from Block PHC and other line departments. The entire programme will cover 1,93,931 beneficiaries upto the age of 5 years at 1127 number of vaccination booths with support of 3828 health workers (Approx.).
