Assam Medical College, Dibrugarh requires the following staff on purely temporary basis for DBT & ICMR projects entitled “Study of Neonatal meningitis in a tertiary care hospital” under the Neonatal Unit (Deptt. of Paediatrics) “Diagnostic Generic Lab (CFDMGD)” under Deptt. of Anatomy and “Prevalence of risk factors of cardiovascular disease amongst student’s age 13-15 years studying in school of ...Assam” in the Department of Community Medicine.
1. Scientist –B :- 2 (Two) Nos.
Qualification : Ph.D in Genetics/Biotechnology from a recognized University.
Desirable Experience: Candidates with experience in Human genetic diseases/Cancer genetics will be given preference.
Age : Below 35 years
Salary : Rs. 38,500/- per month
2. Senior Research Fellow (SRF) :- 1 (One) No.
Qualification : M. Sc degree holder in Biotechnology/Life Sciences.
Desirable Experience: 2 years working experience in any organization/project etc.
Age : Below 35 years
Salary : Rs. 18,000/- + 20% HRA per month
3. Senior Research Fellow (SRF) :- 3 (Three) Nos.
Qualification : M. Sc in Biotechnology/Life Sciences/Statistics with minimum of 60% marks and a minimum of 2 yrs research experience.
Desirable Experience: Candidates with knowledge of molecular biology techniques/cell culture techniques/computer applications will be given preference.
Age : Below 35 years
Salary : Rs. 20,000/- per month
4. Laboratory Technician :- 1 (One) No
Essential Qualification : B. Sc or Higher Secondary with MLT from Govt. recognized institute.
Age : Below 35 years
Consolidated Salary : Rs. 14,400/- per month.
Age relaxation : 3 years for OBC/MOBC; 5 years for ST/SC candidates
