Her mother shared how, for the past 07 years, the Blood Centre has been a lifeline for her daughter, ensuring timely blood support. She is regularly getting help from the Blood Centre AH GMC Doda every month.

*Voluntary Blood Donation at Blood Centre AH GMC Doda* *05 August 2025*

Today, a voluntary blood donation camp was held at the Blood Centre of Associated Hospital GMC Doda. In a commendable show of humanitarian spirit, five employees came forward to donate blood. Among the donors, two were from the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Office Doda, while the remaining three were from the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Office Doda.

The Blood Centre, Associated Hospital, Govt. Medical College Doda proudly celebrated World Blood Donor Day 2025 with a successful Blood Donation Camp, held in the premises of the Blood Centre.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to all the incredible volunteers who came forward to donate their precious blood units — your selfless act will save countless lives. Participants included:

World Red Cross Day Celebrated at Blood Centre, AH GMC Doda
8th May 2025

Today, on 8th May 2025, the Blood Centre of Associated Hospital, Government Medical College Doda proudly celebrated World Red Cross Day under the theme "On the Side of Humanity." The event was held under the able guidance of Dr. Sumat ul Khurshid (Associate Professor), Head of the Department, Blood Centre.

The occasion was graced by Shri Harvinder Singh (IAS), Deputy Commissioner Doda, as the Chief Guest, and Principal/Dean of Govt. Medical College Doda as the Guest of Honor. Other dignitaries present included the Chief Medical Officer Doda, Medical Superintendent AH GMC Doda, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ACR) Doda, and several senior officers from the District Administration.

The event witnessed wholehearted participation and commendable efforts by the entire staff of the Blood Centre, AH GMC Doda, whose dedication made the celebration a grand success.

A special blood donation drive was organized as part of the celebration, in which the DC Doda, district officers, personnel from paramilitary forces, J&K Police, MBBS students, Media Personnel, and various government employees came forward and donated blood, reinforcing the spirit of humanity and service.
