Zonal monthly meetings under the chairmanship of Block medical officer Dr shakel ahmed kichloo



The implementation status of various National Health Programmes, including RCH, Immunization, NCD, NTEP, AMB, VHND, VHSNC, Cluster Meetings, and other ongoing programmes was assessed. Issues and challenges faced during implementation were highlighted.

A comprehensive review of ASHA and MPHWs’ activities, including field activities, reporting, incentives, supervision, and support mechanisms, was also undertaken.

Further, the infrastructure and winter preparedness of health institutions—covering building condition, road connectivity, electricity, water supply, heating arrangements, and accessibility during adverse weather were reviewed. Emphasis was laid on quality of services and patient care, including cleanliness and infection prevention practices.

The list of pregnant women whose (EDD) falls in the months of January, February, and March was reviewed to ensure timely follow-up, adequate antenatal care, and preparedness for safe and institutional deliveries.

The Chair emphasized strict adherence to guidelines, timely reporting, improved coordination among staff, and strengthening of service delivery at all levels. Necessary directions were issued for the prompt redressal of identified gaps.
