🔹️TAPING🔹️
The basic rationale of taping is to provide protection and support to an injured part while permitting optimal functional movements.
It permits an early return to sport/competition/ day-to -day activities by protecting the area from further injury, and avoiding compensatory injury elsewhere.

Circulation is enhanced through movements.
Swelling is controlled
It prevents:
▪️Compensatory injury to adjacent parts.
▪️Disuse atrophy.
▪️Worsening of initial injury.

It allows:
✔️Continued body conditioning and strength which is often lost during post-injury inactivity
