PROCEDURE
• The herbal powder/ paste is rubbed on the body in different strokes covering the whole body.

PICHU THERAPY
>PROCEDURE
The medicated oil or ghee selected for the treatment is indirectly heated the required amount of oil is taken in a small bowl this small bowl consisting of oil is p in a vessel having hot water the temperature of oil is checked when it gets warm the oil bowl is removed.
A sterile cotton pad of the dimension of the joint over which the procedure is inte to be d is selected. The cotton pad is dipped in the oil the is squeezed to remove excessive dripping of oil
The pad dipped in oil is kept over the painful joint or body part.
To keep temperature of pad constantly warm oil is continuously poured over the pad which loses the temperature shall be replaced with another pad dipped in warm oil
The padding is done for 45 min to 1.5 hr In chronic conditions the pad shall be left in place overnight.

JANU VASTI THERAPY
• Position of person undergoing Janu vasti should be supine that is face up on massage table or make him sit bending legs in knee joint.
• Before Janu vasti, local massage with oil is done to improve the absorption of medicated oil or decoction of herbs according to requirement of person.
• The dough is prepared by using black gram flour or wheat flour.
• Boundaries where oil to be poured are completely sealed with the help of dough.
• The medicated oil is soaked up, heated to become lukewarm and pored back again by adding fresh oil in it. This repeated during the whole procedure.
• Duration of treatment varies considering condition and requirement of patient.
