ASHAKIRAN, a free cancer health camp ,organised by Oil India Hospital Duliajan.76 patients from different districts of Assam are consulted by Eminent Oncologist of India ,ASOM BAIBHAV Dr Tapan Saikia Sir.Almost 12 hours of continuous consultation is not a cup of tea for everyone,thank you Sir for your patience and expertise.Listening to you Sir and your approach to patients is always a learning experience for me.Its really very difficult to treat cancer patients because apart from medical treatment the mental status of the patients also need to be dealt with.Patient's response and their respect to Sir is beyond explanation which always make me feel proud to be a doctor.Lastly thank you Dr Ajoy Kumar Sarma Sir ,HOD medical service OIL Hospital and the team members of our camp for your help and support..Indeed a successful camp and YES ASHAKIRAN always bring rays of hope to the patients.

A Health Camp is successfully conducted in Ratanpur Tingkhong today by OIL India Hospital Duliajan.12 specialists of different departments provide their service.Apart from regular check ups,patients are provided with almost all required medications and investigations as per availability.Through these camps we are trying to provide the basic medical facilities along with health education to the people of remote places of Dibrugarh.

Parents should be aware of their children's oral hygiene..poor oral hygiene,dental infections will lead to spread of infections to neck spaces and such disastrous condition.Timely diagnosis is another important factor in such cases because wrong diagnosis and late presentation in such cases lead to life threatening condition..
