৬৯ বছর বয়সী এক মহিলা দীর্ঘদিনের একটি বড় থাইরয়েড গাঁট নিয়ে আসেন, যা তার শ্বাসনালীতে চাপ দিচ্ছিল এবং শ্বাস নিতে কষ্ট হচ্ছিল। সঠিক পরীক্ষা-নিরীক্ষার পর তাঁর টোটাল থাইরয়েডেকটমি করা হয়। অপারেশনের পরেই তাঁর শ্বাসকষ্টের উল্লেখযোগ্য উন্নতি হয়।
এই কেসটি দেখায়, বড় থাইরয়েড গাঁট অবহেলা করলে কতটা বিপজ্জনক হতে পারে এবং সময়মতো অস্ত্রোপচার কতটা জীবনরক্ষাকারী।

६९ वर्ष की एक महिला बहुत बड़े थायरॉइड सूजन के साथ आईं, जो उनकी श्वासनली पर दबाव डाल रही थी, जिससे उन्हें सांस लेने में तकलीफ हो रही थी। पूरी जांच के बाद उनकी टोटल थायरॉइडेक्टॉमी की गई। सर्जरी के बाद उन्हें सांस लेने में तुरंत राहत मिली।
यह केस बताता है कि बड़े थायरॉइड को नजरअंदाज करना खतरनाक हो सकता है, और समय पर सर्जरी जीवनरक्षक साबित होती है।
