A hiatus hernia occurs when the upper part of the stomach bulges through an opening in the diaphragm. Laparoscopic Repair of Hiatus Hernia is the gold standard treatment for hiatus hernia as the cuts are very small and handling of intestines is very minimal. If required 3 days of hospitalization and the procedure is done under general anesthesia.

Inguinal hernia is a condition that occurs when abdominal tissues, such as part of the intestine, protrudes through a weak spot of the inguinal canal. Symptoms of inguinal hernia include bulge in the groin area, burning sensation, groin pain and discomfort, dragging sensation, groin weakness, pain and swelling.

Inguinal hernia can be treated with laparoscopic hernia surgery; ie, passing a laparoscope through keyhole incisions to pull back the protruded abdominal tissues in the inguinal canal and placement of a mesh.

Mastectomy is performed to remove the cancer-affected breast. Breast cancer surgery is performed as a single procedure or in combination with other treatment methods such as chemotherapy, hormone therapy and radiation therapy. Different types of mastectomies are performed. These include -
1. Total Mastectomy / Simple Mastectomy
2. Double Mastectomy (Bilateral Mastectomy)
3. Skin-Sparing Mastectomy or Nipple-Sparing Mastectomy
4. Mastectomy with Breast Reconstruction
5. Modified Radical Mastectomy
6. Radical mastectomy
7. Breast Conservation Surgery (BCS)

Mastectomy is recommended in women with Larger Breast Cancers and Locally Advanced Breast Cancers. Women diagnosed with non invasive breast cancer can undergo lumpectomy.
