নিউমোনিয়া হলো ফুসফুসের একটি সংক্রমণ, যেখানে ফুসফুসের এয়ার স্যাক তরল বা পুঁজে ভরে যায়, যার ফলে শ্বাস নিতে কষ্ট হয়।
কাশি বা হাঁচির মাধ্যমে জীবাণু ছড়ায় ও নিউমোনিয়া হয়। এছাড়া দূষিত বাতাস বা পরিবেশ থেকেও নিউমোনিয়া হয়ে থাকে। ছোটো শিশু ও বয়স্ক মানুষদের এই রোগ হওয়ার সম্ভাবনা বেশি হয়। তাই এরকম অবস্থায় দ্রুত আমাদের হাসপাতালে যোগাযোগ করবেন এবং সঠিক চিকিৎসা নেবেন।
