It is truly an honour to have this work unveiled by such distinguished leaders. This book reflects the vital role small hospitals play in strengthening India’s healthcare system.

We are happy to announce the successful conduction of IMA HBI National Conference and the launch of the Hospitals Helpline, Hospital Management Course, and NABH Training Course in Tumkur, Karnataka 28th and 29th March.

The initiatives were formally launched by Dr. Sarbari Dutta, Honorary Secretary General of Indian Medical Association, in the presence of IMA National Leaders Dr Piyush Jain, HFS, Dr RV Asokan, Past National President, Dr J.A. Jayalal, Past National President, Dr Gurulingappa, National Vice President, Dr Shivakumar Utture, Chairman IMA MSN, Dr Venkatachalapathi, Chairman IMA AMS and Honourable Ministers of Karnataka Shri Parameshwara - Home and Shri Dinesh Gundurao - Health.

These initiatives aim to strengthen hospital administration, enhance quality standards, and support hospitals in addressing operational and regulatory challenges.

I wholeheartedly Thank the organisers Dr Prabhakara, Dr Siddalingeswar, Dr Thiyagarajan, Dr Suresh Babu and Dr Arjun Team IMA Tumkur and IMA Karnataka team led by Dr Veerabadraiah for dedicatedly working in all the spheres of organising and making it as an impactful one 350 delegates

I am pleased to share that I had the opportunity to attend an interaction meeting with Shri Ajay Seth, Chairman of IRDAI, held at Hotel Hyatt, New Delhi on 17.03.2026.

The session was highly insightful, focusing on strengthening collaboration between healthcare providers and insurers, with special emphasis on the adoption and scale-up of the National Health Claims Exchange (NHCX).

I am honored to be included as a member of the Insurance Working Group, representing the Hospital Board of India. This platform provides an excellent opportunity to contribute towards enhancing transparency, efficiency, and patient-centric healthcare delivery in India.
