Nandha Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital proudly shares a glimpse of the academic exposure visit of Batch 2021–22 (Sreshta) – Final Professional students 🌿📚

As part of the curriculum, the students visited Govt Ayurveda Research Institute for Mental Health, Kottakkal and the National Ayurveda Research Institute for Panchakarma, Cheruthurthy on 3rd & 4th March 2026.

The visit provided them with valuable insights into the rich heritage and clinical practices of Ayurveda at Kottakkal, and the research and therapeutic applications of Panchakarma at Cheruthurthy. It was an enriching learning experience that bridged classroom knowledge with practical exposure.

சர்வதேச மகளிர் தினத்தை முன்னிட்டு, நாமக்கல் மாவட்டம் கொல்லிமலை கூக்கரைபட்டி பகுதியில், பெண்கள் மற்றும் அப்பகுதி மக்களுக்கான இலவச பொது மற்றும் சிறப்பு மருத்துவ முகாம் சிறப்பாக நடைபெற்றது. இதில் நந்தா ஆயுர்வேத மருத்துவக்கல்லூரி, விஸ்வ ஆயுர்வேத பரிஷத், ஆரோக்கிய பாரதி, வனவாசி சேவா கேந்திரம், ஏகல் அப்யான் (வடக்கு) மற்றும் பாரதமாதா சேவா டிரஸ்ட் இணைந்து, பரிசோதனை மற்றும் மருந்துகளை வழங்கினர்.

(Late) Padmashri. Dr.P.R .Krishnakumar ji , the charismatic Managing Director of The Arya Vaidya Pharmacy, Coimbatore contributed to the Academic, Clinical, and Manufacturing domains of Ayurveda, without coming into the limelight . His interest in reviving neglected temples was legendary .

His nephew , Dr. Ramkumar , Managing Director, Vaidyagrama Ayurveda Healing Village, and Director, The Arya Vaidya Pharmacy, Coimbatore has travelled in the same direction, following Krishnakumar ji 's footsteps, avoiding the limelight .

The Management, Staff and Students of Nandha Ayurveda Medical College, Erode regret to know that Smt. Shri Kasturi Kutty, sister of Krishnakumar ji, and mother of Dr. Ramkumar, has passed away.

We pray for the Sadgati of her Atma .

We also share the grief of Dr. Ramkumar, and pray, that the Almighty will give him the strength to survive his loss .

Dharsan S, II Professional student, under the esteemed guidance of Dr. Sai Lakshmi, Associate Professor, Department of Dravyaguna Vignana, has been selected as one among 300 students across the nation for the prestigious Studentship Program for Ayurveda Research Ken (SPARK).

The program is conducted by the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS).

His selected research topic is:
“COMPARATIVE ANALYTICAL STUDY TO EVALUATE THE HEAVY METAL CONTENT IN THE ROOT TUBER OF MUSTA BEFORE AND AFTER SHODANA.”
