ग्रामीण एवं दूरस्थ क्षेत्रों के मरीजों को अब घर बैठे मिलेंगी विशेषज्ञ चिकित्सीय सेवाएं।
उत्तर प्रदेश आयुर्विज्ञान विश्वविद्यालय (यूपीयूएमएस), सैफई में माननीय कुलपति प्रो. डॉ. अजय सिंह द्वारा वर्चुअल ओपीडी का शुभारंभ किया गया।
हड्डी रोग, नेत्र रोग, जनरल मेडिसिन, रेस्पिरेटरी, गैस्ट्रोमेडिसिन सहित विभिन्न विभागों के विशेषज्ञों ने टेलीमेडिसिन के माध्यम से निःशुल्क परामर्श प्रदान किया। साहिबाबाद (गाजियाबाद), शाहजहांपुर, लखीमपुर सहित कई दूरस्थ क्षेत्रों के मरीजों को इसका लाभ मिला।
यह पहल समय, श्रम व खर्च की बचत के साथ स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं को अधिक सुलभ और प्रभावी बनाने की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम है।

बढ़ती ठंड के साथ हृदय रोग से जुड़ी समस्याओं में भी इज़ाफ़ा हो रहा है।
उत्तर प्रदेश आयुर्विज्ञान विश्वविद्यालय, सैफई के हृदय रोग विभाग के चिकित्सकों ने लोगों से ठंड से बचाव रखने एवं हृदय संबंधी किसी भी लक्षण या समस्या होने पर तुरंत चिकित्सकीय परामर्श लेने की अपील की है।

Dr. Amita Singh, Veterinary Officer & In-charge, Animal House, proudly represented UPUMS, Saifai at LASACON-2025 held at GITAM (Deemed to be University), Visakhapatnam. She actively participated in the AAALAC & Small Animal Imaging pre-conference workshop and presented a research poster on a rare mouse adenocarcinoma case, contributing valuable insights to cancer research models.
The work was supported by Prof. Dr. Alok Dixit (Pharmacology) and Prof. Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Singh (Pathology). Dr. Singh also took part in the first LASACON Walkathon, promoting research awareness.
A pioneer of the UPUMS Animal House and long-standing Member Secretary, IAEC (since 2007), Dr. Singh continues to uphold ethical, CCSEA-compliant animal research at the university.
Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Ajai Singh congratulated her for her dedication, academic excellence, and commitment to ethical research innovation.

Under the vision of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Ajai Singh, the Department of Microbiology, UPUMS Saifai, organized an HIV/AIDS outreach camp at Ujhiyani Village, Etawah on 19 December 2025, under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Rajesh Kumar Verma (HOD).
Dr. Amit Singh highlighted the importance of reducing stigma, encouraging community support, and promoting voluntary testing. With active participation of faculty, residents, ICTC counsellors, and ASHA workers, counselling and screening of 14 pregnant women were conducted. The initiative was well appreciated by the community and strengthened awareness at the grassroots level.

The Department of General Surgery organized a commemorative event on 25 December 2025 at the Seminar Hall, honoring the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
The gathering was addressed by Prof. (Dr.) S. P. Singh, Head of the Department, and Prof. (Dr.) Somendra Pal Singh. The event was organized under the guidance of Dr. Ram Lakhan Singh Verma, Associate Professor, with the presence of Dr. Kush, Dr. Vivek, Dr. Sameer, along with senior and junior residents, marking these precious moments of remembrance and inspiration.

यूपीयूएमएस में इन्फ्यूजन सेफ्टी की दिशा में ऐतिहासिक कदम 🏥✨
उत्तर प्रदेश आयुर्विज्ञान विश्वविद्यालय, सैफई की पैलेटिव मेडिसिन यूनिट द्वारा एडवांस्ड इन्फ्यूजन मैनेजमेंट (AIM) विषय पर आयोजित दो दिवसीय कार्यशाला (22–23 दिसंबर 2025) का सफल समापन हुआ। यह विश्वविद्यालय के इतिहास में इंट्रावेनस (IV) इन्फ्यूजन प्रबंधन पर आधारित अपनी तरह की पहली संगठित पहल रही।
कार्यशाला के माध्यम से नर्सिंग स्टाफ, तकनीशियन एवं इंटर्न्स को वैश्विक मानकों के अनुरूप सुरक्षित, मानकीकृत एवं पेशेंट-सेंट्रिक इन्फ्यूजन प्रैक्टिसेस का प्रशिक्षण दिया गया, जिससे रोगी सुरक्षा एवं उपचार गुणवत्ता को और सुदृढ़ किया जा सके।
इस अवसर पर माननीय कुलपति प्रो. (डॉ.) अजय सिंह ने रोगी देखभाल में मानवीय संवेदनशीलता और गुणवत्ता के महत्व पर प्रकाश डाला। चिकित्सा अधीक्षक एवं आयोजन अध्यक्ष डॉ. अमित सिंह तथा आयोजन सचिव डॉ. हिमांशु प्रिंस ने इसे यूपीयूएमएस में सुरक्षित एवं गुणवत्ता-आधारित स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण मील का पत्थर बताया।

An outreach camp on breast and cervical cancer screening was successfully conducted at Bamtapur village by the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, UPUMS Saifai, under the esteemed guidance of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ajai Singh.
Organized by Prof. Dr. Kalpana Kumari (HOD) and coordinated by Dr. Nupur Mittal, the initiative focused on early detection, awareness, myth-busting, and preventive healthcare for women. Active participation from women of Bamtapur and nearby areas reflected strong community engagement.
UPUMS Saifai reaffirms its commitment to women’s health, preventive medicine, and continued rural outreach.

25 दिसंबर 2025 को भारत रत्न, पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री स्व. अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी जी की जयंती के अवसर पर उत्तर प्रदेश आयुर्विज्ञान विश्वविद्यालय (UPUMS), सैफई में उन्हें श्रद्धापूर्वक स्मरण किया गया।
इस अवसर पर प्रतिकुलपति प्रो. डॉ. रमाकांत सहित समस्त संकाय सदस्यों ने अटल जी को श्रद्धा-सुमन अर्पित किए तथा उनके विचारों, राष्ट्रप्रेम, साहित्यिक योगदान एवं मानवीय मूल्यों को नमन किया।
