Dr. Ritu Gupta, Professor(Jr grade) Department of ENT , represented the University at the National Rhinology Conference – Rhinocon 2025, held in Chennai. She was awarded the prestigious *Gold Medal in the Consultant Award Category* for her outstanding scientific contribution on " BSP vs ESS ; A non randomized controlled trial".

Dr. Gupta was also invited as a *faculty speaker* delivering an impactful talk on Pediatric Balloon Sinuplasty, which received exceptional appreciation from both national and international delegates. In addition, she served as the *Course Director for the Balloon Sinuplasty Training* Program, which was highly acclaimed for its structure, content, and hands-on value.

Her participation and achievements at Rhinocon 2025 brought significant recognition to the University and highlighted her leadership in advancing clinical excellence and rhinology education in India.

*स्वच्छता अभियान में सहभागिता*

माननीय कुलपति प्रो० (डॉ०) अजय सिंह के नेतृत्व में स्वच्छता को एक महत्वपूर्ण संस्कार के रूप में अपनाया गया है। प्रो० (डॉ०) जितेंद्र प्रताप सिंह चौहान, विभागाध्यक्ष ई०एन०टी० विभाग ने अपने विभाग के डॉक्टर और कर्मचारियों को इस अभियान में सहभागी बनने के लिए प्रेरित किया है।

आज ई०एन०टी० विभाग के सभी डॉक्टर और कर्मचारियों ने स्वच्छता अभियान में सहभागिता करके गहन संतोष और कृतज्ञता का अनुभव किया। यह अभियान न केवल हमारे आसपास के वातावरण को स्वच्छ बनाने में मदद करता है, बल्कि हमें एक स्वस्थ और स्वच्छ जीवन जीने के लिए भी प्रेरित करता है।

Department of ENT – Community Health Initiative

The Department of Otorhinolaryngology organized a health camp under the banner of “Swast Nari, Shashakt Parivar”, a flagship initiative of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. The program emphasizes that a healthy woman is the foundation of a strong and empowered family.

As part of this initiative, our department conducted screening, awareness, and counseling sessions focusing on women’s health and well-being. The camp highlighted the importance of early diagnosis, preventive care, and treatment of ENT disorders among women, aiming to improve quality of life and family health outcomes.

Through this activity, we reaffirmed our commitment to strengthening women’s health, thereby contributing to healthier families and a stronger community.

सभी मरीजों को सूचित किया जाता है कि वे समय से आकर अपना इलाज करवा सकते हैं। यह क्लीनिक जिला इटावा और आसपास के जिलों के मरीजों के लिए वरदान साबित होगी।

Teachers’ Day Celebration – ENT Department, UPUMS Saifai

On the occasion of Teachers’ Day, the postgraduate residents and interns of the Department of ENT organized a heartfelt celebration to honor and express gratitude to all the respected teachers and mentors of the department.

It was a wonderful get-together filled with warmth, appreciation, and joy. The event included thank-you messages from faculty members acknowledging the dedication, hard work, and tireless efforts of our postgraduate students and interns, who play a vital role in the smooth functioning of departmental activities.

The celebration was graced by the presence of our esteemed HOD Dr. Jitendra Chauhan, along with Dr. Sanjeev Yadav, Dr. Jyoti, and Dr. Kanchan, making the day even more special.

The program not only strengthened the bond between teachers and students but also reminded us of the invaluable role of mentorship in shaping the future of medicine.
