Drama triangle, is also called the victim triangle. Each role in the drama triangle, victim, persecutor, rescuer represents our state of mind, how we think and the way we act when dealing with differences of opinion or disagreements with our own self or others.

Drama triangle provides an escape path to hide our underlying
feelings and prevent us from addressing our real problems.

Shift from drama roles to empowerment roles, set boundaries for yourself, consciously watch your behaviour, reflect on which roles you assume, how do others participate in it, how do you feel afterwards, what can you change about your situation and how can others help.

This form of powerful questioning and self reflection can shift the
mindset from seeking drama to awareness which can then enable you to make the shift.

You’ve heard of obsessive compulsive disorder — a mental illness affecting as many as 1 in 100 adults that’s marked by obsessive thoughts and compulsive behaviors.

But how much do you really know about OCD?

Despite its prevalence, OCD is one of the most misunderstood health conditions.

Perhaps due to stereotypical portrayals in the media, many people have ideas about it that simply aren’t true.

That’s why we’re debunking some of OCD’s most common falsehoods — and giving you the facts.

You can’t go back to the old you. Because the old you no longer exists. It can be tempting to go down the rabbit hole of trying to recapture that old life. To twist yourself inside out. Comparing the present you to the old you as if you does your old self an injustice.

You belittle your own journey. Rather, it’s important to take the attitude to embrace who you are becoming.

The key to any change in life, of course, is to accept the simple fact that life continues to change and shift. We can’t change the pure fact that over time, our bodies replenish all of our cells. We are always changing physically. We are also always growing mentally and spiritually.

You shed what doesn’t fit. You clear the clutter that’s distracting you. You brainstorm. You clear your head of ideas and swirling thoughts.

Rather than longing to go back to the old you, choose to embrace what the growth has taught you about yourself.

Therapists are often expected to have some special knowledge about life and to pass along little gems of wisdom and happiness.

Their profession is extremely crucial to help people, solve their problems and save their lives.

However, outside the therapy session sometimes therapist’s feel grief and loss like everyone else. They may also have rough days like every human being.

Afterall, how can therapists encourage clients to work openly and honestly, if they are not willing to do this themselves?

But the moment when
their client is right in front of them and says one of these or something equally as hard, their job is to explore the client’s experience and not reflect on their own thoughts or emotions.

So always remember you are talking to a real person and be empathetic towards them!

Avoid developing this awful, compulsive habit. It's not your fault if you feel worried; what you do next is what matters, especially when it comes to teaching your brain that feeling anxious is OK in and of itself.

As adults attempting to navigate the often chaotic world of modern life, the range of emotions we experience in a day can change dramatically.

Often our life is affected from the negativity around us be it sadness or what others say about us or any kind of negativity at times we get so overwhelmed with this negativity that we outflow which takes away from the beautiful life we created .

Our ability to feel and respond to our emotions is often taken for granted.

So, If you want to be happy, do not dwell in the past, do not worry about the future, focus on living fully in the present.

Say to yourself that “I will no longer allow the negative things in my life to spoil all of the good things and the beautiful life I have.”

Don't feed your anxiety, negative
self-talk and overthinking. Feed self-care and self love
instead
