The nursing students of Sarvodaya Nursing Institute proudly conducted a community project at CHC Tigaon on the theme “Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs)”.

💬 Informative health education empowered the community with knowledge on healthy living

We were honored by the presence of Dr. Harish Arya (SMO), Dr. Anumol (LMO), Dr. Hitesh Nagar (MO), and the supportive CHC staff.

On 7th April, Sarvodaya Nursing Institute celebrated World Health Day 2026 with the WHO theme “Together for health. Stand with science.”🩺🌍

Our students led the day with energy and purpose highlighting the One Health approach through a powerful skit on Safe Motherhood. poster competitions, and awareness drives. From evidence-based care to rebuilding trust in science, we’re proud to be future nurses who,Ask,Share. Stand with science.

We were honored by the presence of Mrs. Vijaya Laxmi(Principal, SNI),Mrs. Anshu Gupta (Managing Director, SHRC), Dr. Ayush Gupta (Director of Quality and Medical Services) and all our esteemed faculties who participated in the program at the Atrium of SHRC. Their guidance and encouragement made the celebration truly inspiring.

We are pleased to share that on the first day of community posting, an Orientation Program was conducted at CHC Tigaon by Sarvodaya Nursing Institute. 👩‍⚕️🌿

The session introduced our nursing students to the functioning of the Community Health Centre and provided valuable insights into community healthcare practices.

Sarvodaya Nursing Institute organized a vibrant Fresher’s Party to warmly welcome the GNM Batch 2025–2026 (21st batch of the institute). The event featured engaging activities and cultural performances, fostering a positive and inclusive environment for the new students.
The celebration offered a platform for freshers to showcase their talents and begin their journey with confidence, reflecting the institute’s spirit of unity and excellence.

Students of Sarvodaya Nursing Institute successfully conducted an impactful awareness program at B.K. Civil Hospital on the theme “Respectful Maternity Care.”
The program focused on educating women about safe pregnancy practices, essential precautions, and the risks of neglect during this crucial phase. It was encouraging to see active participation from many women, making the session interactive and meaningful.
A powerful street play (nukkad natak) was also presented, highlighting social challenges and harmful practices faced by women, along with spreading awareness about the benefits of institutional deliveries.
The program was graced by Traffic Tau (Virendra Singh), Matron (Sunita Ma’am), SNO (Nidhi), ICN (Babita Ma’am), and Sarvodaya teachers (Supriya Ma’am and Priya Ma’am).
Such initiatives play a vital role in building awareness and promoting healthier communities.

🌿 Field Visit Experience – Learning Beyond the Classroom 🌿

Sarvodaya Nursing Institute organized an insightful field visit for our nursing students to the National Association for the Blind and Bharat Mata Kusht Ashram, Faridabad. This visit was an enriching experience that allowed our students to understand the real-life challenges faced by individuals with visual impairment and those affected by leprosy.

At the National Association for the Blind, students learned about rehabilitation services, education, and support systems that empower visually impaired individuals to lead independent and dignified lives. The interaction helped our future nurses develop deeper empathy, communication skills, and awareness about inclusive healthcare.

During the visit to Bharat Mata Kusht Ashram, students observed the dedicated care and support provided to individuals affected by leprosy.We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the organizations for warmly welcoming our students and sharing their valuable insights.

Our students proudly attended the One-Day Conference on “Human Values: Re-establishing Human Values in the Digital Workplace” organized by Rufaida College of Nursing, Jamia Hamdard.

The session enriched them with deeper insights into essential human values like respect, empathy, compassion, and integrity in today’s technology-driven world. It was truly an inspiring and meaningful learning experience for our future nurses. 🌿✨

Students of GNM III Year from Sarvodaya Nursing Institute along with faculty members attended the conference on “Epidemiology in the Era of Big Data” at Rufaida College of Nursing, Jamia Hamdard University.

The conference was highly informative and enlightening. It enhanced our understanding of the vital role of epidemiology in today’s data-driven healthcare system and highlighted how big data is shaping the future of public health and disease prevention.

Such academic exposure provides our students with broader perspectives and strengthens their professional knowledge. We are thankful for this valuable learning experience.
