When someone hears the word “cancer,” three fears usually come to mind:

• Will chemotherapy be very painful?
• How bad will the side effects be?
• What will happen to my future?

These fears are real — but so is hope.

Today, cancer treatments are more advanced, personalized, and supportive than ever before. Many patients go on to live healthy and fulfilling lives after treatment.

✨ The first step is understanding your fears.
The next step is facing them with the right medical support.

“Doctor, if you do a biopsy… will the cancer spread?”

This is one of the most common fears patients express before diagnosis.

The truth is that biopsy does NOT cause cancer to spread.
A biopsy simply allows doctors to examine a small tissue sample under the microscope to confirm whether cancer is present and what type it is.

Without a biopsy, it is often impossible to plan the correct treatment.

Modern biopsy techniques are safe, precise, and performed millions of times worldwide every year.

If your doctor recommends a biopsy, it is a crucial step toward accurate diagnosis and proper treatment.

Women are often the strongest pillars of their families.
They care for everyone — parents, partners, children — sometimes forgetting to care for themselves.

This International Women's Day, take a moment to prioritize your own health.

If you ever notice symptoms like a breast lump, unusual bleeding, persistent bloating, or unexplained weight loss, don’t ignore them.

Most symptoms may have simple causes, but early medical advice can save lives.

Your health matters. Always. 💜

Many cancers don’t start with pain.
They start with symptoms people usually ignore.

⚠️ A cough that won’t go away
⚠️ Frequent bloating
⚠️ Unexplained itching
⚠️ A mouth ulcer that doesn’t heal

Most of these symptoms are harmless.
But if they don’t go away, your body might be asking for attention.

👉 Early detection can save lives.

“I still remember the fear in his eyes that day.”

He came to our OPD at Sarvodaya Healthcare with raging sepsis, uncontrolled bleeding, and pancytopenia — a young life hanging in the balance. He was diagnosed with very severe aplastic anemia. Those were heavy days. Every decision carried weight. Every night, we hoped the next morning would bring a little more strength.

With careful planning, teamwork, and immense courage from the patient and family, we moved forward with an allogeneic stem cell transplant.

Today, he walked back into our clinic smiling — healthy, vibrant, and two years disease-free. Moments like these quietly remind us why this work truly matters.

My heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Imam, Dr. Sapna Chopra, Dr. Shiwangi Sharma, Dr. Dinesh Pendharkar, and our incredible BMT nursing team for standing strong through the hardest days. Grateful to be part of a team that makes stories like this possible.

Same cancer ≠ same treatment.

Cancer care isn’t one-size-fits-all.
Personalized treatment looks at the person, not just the diagnosis—leading to better outcomes and fewer side effects.

Cancer care is not just about treating a disease.
It’s about understanding the person living with it.

Every cancer journey is unique.
And care should be too.

United by Unique.
Seeing the person before the patient.

A 3-year-old girl diagnosed with Chronic Granulomatous Disease (CGD) successfully underwent an Allogeneic Stem Cell Transplant. She is the youngest transplant recipient treated.

Stem Cell Transplant can be life-saving in select genetic and immune disorders. This journey reflects what modern oncology and transplant medicine can achieve — even in the youngest patients.

👉 If your child has a rare immune or genetic condition, early evaluation and timely referral can make a difference. Consult a specialist to understand available treatment options.

Thanks to Dr Imam Ather, Dr. Dinesh Pendharkar, Dr Sapna Chopra and all BMT nursing staff for making it possible.
