Exciting news from Max Institute of Robotic Joint Replacement at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket! (.healthcare ). We are incredibly proud to share that on June 23rd, 2025, we achieved a significant medical milestone: the world's first medial pivot cruciate-retaining total knee replacement ( ) with Vitamin E polyethylene insert, performed with the fully active CUVIS robot.
This pioneering procedure underscores our commitment to innovation and patient-centric care in orthopaedics. The precision offered by the CUVIS robot for this complex medial pivot and cruciate-retaining technique has the potential to redefine total knee replacement, aiming for more natural kinematics and better long-term results for our patients.

Prof. Karl Philipp Kutzener from MZ-Gonsenheim, Germany, visited our Robotic Centre for the MISSO Observership program.

He was very excited to observe the performance of the MISSO active robotic arm-assisted knee replacement surgery.

Since he is well-versed in different robotic systems and has been using them for a long time, he appreciates the simplicity and versatility of MISSO.
