🌿 Ayurveda in Motion 🌿
Thankful to the Indian Army for organizing such a wonderful event — “Ek Daud Shaheedo Ke Naam” — at the Ferozepur Border Marathon 🇮🇳
An inspiring initiative for our youth, in remembrance of our Shaheeds, who dreamed of a healthy and happy nation. 🙏
In Ayurveda, व्यायाम (exercise) is the key to maintaining dosha balance and overall strength —
> “शरीरचेष्टा या चेष्टा स्थैर्यार्था बलवर्धिनी।
देहव्यायामसङ्ख्याता मात्रया तां समाचरेत् ॥ (Charak Samhita Su. 7/31)”
“Physical exercise, when done in proper measure, brings stability and strength to the body.”
💨 Vāta – gets regulated as movement happens rhythmically, not erratically.
🔥 Pitta – channels its fire positively, improving digestion and metabolism.
💧 Kapha – melts away through activity, preventing heaviness and sluggishness.
Running, when done mindfully, harmonizes all three — giving energy, lightness, and inner joy.
