On the instructions of the Government of India, under the mock drill of Civil Defense, a blackout will be done in Araria on 7 May 2025 from 7 pm to 7:10 pm. The purpose of this mock drill is to test the preparedness to deal with situations like emergency. He told that this is only a rehearsal, there is no need to panic in any way. From 07:00 pm to 07:10 pm, keep all the lights of your homes / shops / establishments off. During this time, keep the alternative arrangement of light such as battery, inverter, mobile torch light, screen light, solar light etc. also off. He said that during this time all the vehicles running on the road will stop at their place and keep the vehicle lights off.

Mock drill schedule:
The siren will sound at 06:58 pm.

All lights will remain off from 7 pm to 7:10 pm.

भारत सरकार के निर्देश पर सिविल डिफेंस की मॉक ड्रिल के तहत 7 मई 2025 को शाम 7 बजे से 7 बजकर 10 मिनट तक अररिया में ब्लैक आउट किया जायेगा।इस मॉक ड्रिल का उद्देश्य आपात स्थिति जैसे हालातों से निपटने की तैयारी को परखना है। उन्होंने बताया कि यह केवल एक रिहर्सल है, किसी भी तरह से घबराने की जरूरत नहीं है।शाम 07:00 बजे से 07:10 तक अपने घरों/दुकानों/ प्रतिष्ठानों की सभी बत्तियाँ बन्द रखेंगे। इस दौरान रौशनी की वैकल्पिक व्यवस्था यथा-बैट्री, इन्वर्टर, मोबाईल का टॉर्च लाईट, स्क्रीन लाईट, सौलर लाईट आदि को भी बन्द रखें। उन्होंने कहा कि इस दौरान सड़क पर चलने वाले सभी वाहन अपने स्थान पर रूक जायेंगे तथा वाहन की बत्तियाँ बन्द रखेंगे।
मॉक ड्रिल का शेड्यूल:
शाम 06:58 बजे सायरन बजेगा।
7 बजे से 7:10 तक सभी लाइट बंद रहेंगी।
