What is the truth? In our Gujarati IAS, when the issue came for deliberation, I remarked the following:

“શું ભારતમાં કામ કરતાં હોત તો સ્થિતિ જુદી હોત? મોટે ભાગે તેમના વીઝા, એર ફેર, રહેવા-જમવાનું આયોજન BAPS દ્વારા હશે. પુરસ્કાર પણ ભારતના દરે ચૂકવવાનું પહેલાંથી નક્કી કરેલું હશે.

H1B Visa ધારક યુવકોના પાસપોર્ટ એમ્પલોયર રાખે તે અમેરિકામાં નવું નથી. પણ ત્યાંનું પાણી જ એવું છે કે સ્વાર્થ આગળ થઈ જાય. કોઈક લોકલ ગેરમાર્ગે દોરનારો મજૂરોને મળી ગયો અને કોર્ટે ચઢાવી દીધાં. નહીતર મંદિરનું કામ તો ૧૦ વર્ષથી ચાલે છે.

ન્યાય અને નીતિ મુજબ જે ભૂમિ પર કામ ચાલતું હોય તેના કાયદા મુજબ વેતન આપવું પડે. પરંતુ આ તો દાનથી ચાલતી સંસ્થા. તેથી સ્વયંસેવકો તરીકે કારીગરોને આવવા વિનતી કરી હશે, શરૂઆતમાં સારી ભાવનાથી આવવા તૈયાર થયા હશે, સમજી ચાલ્યા હશે.

રાજ રજવાડાં ગયા પછી પત્થરના કારીગરો બેરોજગાર હતાં. BAPS સંસ્થા તેમને છેલ્લા ૩૦-૪૦ વર્ષથી રોજગાર આપી રહી છે. તેમના સંતાનોને પણ તાલીમ આપી તૈયાર કર્યા છે. અને ગરીબ દલિતોની પારાવાર સેવા કરી છે.

On this auspicious day, the foundation work for the BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi has begun. 22 years after His Holiness Pramukh Swami Maharaj's divine prophecy, devotees and sadhus joined representatives of RSP Consultants and Shahpoorji Pallonji Mideast Limited - the contractors of the Mandir, to celebrate the beginning of this historic work and pray for the successful completion of the project.

HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, son of HRH Salman bin Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Deputy King, Crown Prince of Bahrain, visited P. Brahmavihari Swamiji and BAPS Bahrain Satsang Mandal representatives on 27 October 2019, to deliver Diwali greetings. His Highness recollected the time when his great-grandfather, the late Emir of Bahrain, met with Pramukh Swami Maharaj and requested that Swamishri make Bahrain his home. HH Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa also shared similar sentiments.

His Highness was inspired by the conversation about the the upcoming Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi, and requested that they should meet every time Swamiji visits Bahrain.

Brahmavihari Swamiji and His Highness shared heartfelt sentiments on this auspicious Diwali for the growth and prosperity of Bahrain, and for greater tolerance and less ignorance in the world.

History was made in Abu Dhabi today as the government gave out official licenses to religious institutions in the Emirate. 18 institutions were officially recognised today - 17 Churches and the BAPS Hindu Mandir.

Pujya Brahmavihari Swami and Dr. B. R. Shetty on behalf of the Board of Directors accepted the license TH001 at a formal ceremony at the Emirates Palace.

Members of the Royal Executive Council and Ministers of Community Development, Health and Transport were also present and congratulated the Delegation on its work for harmony and gave their best wishes for the completion of the mandir and cultural complex.
