On occasion of world physiotherapy day,
Sharda College of Physiotherapy- Gandhinagar in association with IAP & IAPWC GANDHINAGAR DISTRICT has celebrated by following events
1) community awareness expert talk was organised on 28th Aug 2023 in Pethapur area
In this talk, as per the celebration theme of this year, information regarding inflammatory arthritis was given to the local public and students which includes what is the condition, cause, symptoms and management.
In addition, people's questions relation to inflammatory arthritis was discussed.
The session was taken by Dr. Bhoomi Chokshi and Dr. Palak Patel, assistant professor of Sharda College of Physiotherapy.
2) The walkathon was organised under the theme "Arthritis" for the purpose of awareness, emphasising on "Arthritis" awareness, detection and treatment on 1st September 2023.Around 250 students and staff from Physiotherapy, Nursing and Pharmacy of Sharda Campus participated in the walkathon. The walkathon was planned from GH-0 to G-2. At the end of this walkathon, more information about arthritis was provided to local people through expert talk and drama and people's questions were discussed.
