The family came from Udaipur
to meet

Their son was born very prematurely with 1kg weight and had NICU stay for a month.

Today he is 4 years old,grown-up well.

During conversation they praise our efforts, remembered that moments when he was sick and how we passed that stressful moments together.
After discharged they shifted to Udaipur but kept sending videos of his first word, first walk and so on..
They showed award he won in school
They also brought special rajasthani sweets for us.

We are grateful to parents,they understands our efforts,they are still connected to us, they are like our family

Therapeutic Hypothermia

જો બાળક જન્મ્યા પછી તરત રડે નહીં તો મગજ ઉપર oxygen ઓછો મળવાથી લાંબે સમયે મગજ નો વિકાસ ઓછો થવાનું જોખમ રહે છે.તેને ટાળવા આવા બાળકોને therapeutic hyothermiaની સારવાર આપવામાં છે જે તેઓ માટે આશીર્વાદ સમાન છે.

આ સારવાર દરમ્યાન 72 કલાક સુધી શરીર નું તાપમાન 32-34 Celcius(91-93f) ની વચ્ચે જાળવી રાખવામાં આવે છે.જેથી કરીને મગજ માં થતી hypoxic injuryને ઓછી કરી શકાય અને ત્યારબાદ ફરી નોર્મલ temperature પર 24 કલાક માં લઇ જવામાં આવે છે. Intensive NICU monitoring મા આ દરમ્યાન સર્જાતી મુશ્કેલીઓ જેવી કે BP ઓછુ થવું, platelets count ઘટી જવા, લોહી જામવામાં તકલીફ થવી , ઇન્ફેકશન લાગી જવું વગેરે મોનીટર કરી ,સારવાર કરી ,બાળક એકવાર સારી રીતે દૂધ પીતું થાય,પછી હોસ્પિટલમાંથી રજા આપવામાં આવે છે.

એક નવજાત બાળક જેને જન્મ પછી ન રડવાને કારણે 20 mins સુધી CPR (હૃદય અને ફેફસાનું બહારથી manual pumping)આપવામાં આવેલ હતા તેને જન્મ પછી તરત NICU માં આ સારવાર આપી , 7માં દિવસે feeding શરૂ કરાવી, નોર્મલ MRI scan અને નોર્મલ neurological status સાથે ડિસ્ચાર્જ કરવામાં આવ્યું.

Today nursing staffs of gynec hospital were given training for Neonatal resuscitation according to latest NRP guideline.

They were provided hands-on training(bag & mask,CPR)on neonatal mannequin.

They learnt the art of saving life in first 'golden minute' if the baby doesn't cry.

નવજાત બાળક જો જન્મ પછી તરત રડે નહીં તો શુ કરવું , કેવી રીતે તેને કૃત્રિમ શ્વાસ આપીને જીવ બચે તેની ટ્રેનીંગ આજરોજ ગાયનેક હોસ્પિટલો ના નર્સિંગ સ્ટાફને નિઓકિડ્સ હોસ્પિટલમાં આપવામાં આવી.
