Gujarat Medical Services Corporation Limited (G.M.S.C.L), a Government of Gujarat undertaking, was incorporated in the year 2012, under The Companies Act, from its parent organization The Central Medical Stores Organization (C.M.S.O), keeping in mind the changing demands and rapid development in the healthcare sector and to fulfill the needs of Universal Health Coverage through professional manage

ment and with the use of information technology. The organization caters to procurement, inventory management and distribution services of a total of 575 essential items which includes, medicines & capsules, injectables, surgical goods, medical equipment and miscellaneous items to all the healthcare institutions under the Government of Gujarat. The head office of GMSCL is located in Gandhinagar, while there are 11 regional warehouses located all over the state of Gujarat to ensure smooth supply of drugs as per the demand. Currently, the entire organization constitutes of approximately 220 employees. The organization has undergone drastic changes since its inception and continues to grow year after year.
