Absent pulmonary valve syndrome FAllOT 's type---

A rare congenital anomaly but can be easily diagnosed on antenatal ultrasound--chracterized by -

1.Aneurysmal dilatation of main and branched pulmonary arteries.
2.Massive regurgitation of the pulmonary valve with stenotic component as well---biidirectional high velocity flow across the valve.
3.Presence of a normal sized aorta overiding VSD---FALLOT's component.

Absent ductus venosus--rare vascular anomaly.
Below is the most common type of the anomaly-Where umblical vein is entering the liver and connecting with the portal system and appears to be ending blindly with out a ductus venosus.

Following associations are to be ruled out--
1.Aneuploidies (80% cases)
2.cardiac anomalies and heterotaxy
3.Noonan syndrome
4.Renal ,G.I. ,skeletal, C.N.S anomalies
5.portal venous anomalies.

Prognosis is good if all above conditions are ruled out.

Persistent right umblical vein (PRUV)-

1. Persistent right umbilical vein (PRUV) is a developmental malformation where in the left umbilical vein becomes atretic and the right umbilical vein remains open.

2.usually detected in the 2nd to 3rd trimester.

3.An intrahepatic persistent right umbilical vein may be seen as an umbilical vein abnormally connected to the right portal vein and the fetal gallbladder is positioned medial to the PRUV.

4.Association with trisomy 18,cardiovascular ,renal ,vertebral, GI anomalies are to be ruled out.

5.4. Anomaly is uncommom but when isolated carries a favourable prognosis.

A Large occipital cephalocele--containing herniated posterior cranial fossa brain covered with meninges--
A Meningoencephalocele

intracranially --tectile beaking is seen.

Finger and toe count and bilateral kidneys were normal--That rules out Meckle gruber syndrome.
