OUr CHO miss Pema Khandu Sherpa and her team of TINGVONG health and wellness sub centre observed ”World Menstrual Hygiene “ day along with awarness programme on menstrual hygiene and awarness given on teenage pregnancy to the students.
Here in the picture we all can see a female child demonstrating how to use a sanitary napkins to her friends/ classmates.
Kudos to the entire team for creating awareness on much tabooed topic “MENSTRUATION”

VILLAGE HEALTH AND NUTRITION SANITAION DAY observed at Darapthang junior high school Thingling. CHO along with her team ANM and school teachers were present at the meeting. The agenda of the meeting was to provide health education related to sanitation, waste management, nutrition, and balanced diet for healthy living. Overall the meeting was a fruitful one 😇

Let’s not only focus on seeking treatment from the health facility instead let’s go there and learn some wellness activities. CHO Mrs. sharma is teaching the beneficiaries the benefits of wellness activity like yoga 🧘‍♀️. We shall all appreciate her efforts in making her area a disease free 🤞.

Our beautiful and hardworking CHO miss and her team from Lingdong health and wellness sub centre North sikkim Mangan district has conducted RBSK( rashtriya Baal swasthya karyakram) at mangzing primary school that falls on one of the remotest village in north Sikkim. Hats off to her dedication and perseverance towards her profession 🙏🏻
