Happy New Year 2026 to everyone here ! 🙏🫶 I shared my teacher’s valuable suggestion to remind myself how small I am, so my heart stays humble and my feet stay on the ground.
🌹 As we welcome a new year, let us remember that health is our greatest wealth. When we live healthy, we gain the strength to do good for others and serve society with contentment.

I felt honored to attend the 25th Anniversary of Medical Career, Silver Jubilee Celebration with my Batchmates, who are all achieving remarkable success in their respective fields worldwide. I am proud of their achievements. Met my friends, esteemed Teachers and had enriching interactions with them, received blessings from teachers at King George’s Medical University, Lucknow.

🙏 On the occasion of Lasoong & Namsoong festival, we would like to extend our best wishes and prayers to our dear friends and colleagues, and reiterate our commitment to providing dedicated services to our community.
** As the sole Cardiac centre in Sikkim, we are responsible for managing all referred challenging and critical cases.
*** Recently, we successfully managed, operated, and discharged our Uncle from Pakyong who had suffered a massive heart attack, with two blocked main arteries and worsening heart failure, thanks to the tireless efforts of our colleague Nurses and Technicians, and the effective use of Intra-aortic Balloon Pulsation (IABP) during the heart attack operation.
🫶 We recognize that the faith placed in Doctors is the highest level of accountability, driving us to deliver exceptional care.

Inspiration of strength and positivity at the age of 84 years.
*** We successfully completed heart operation on 84-year old Sangay Ajyo from Darjeeling, who is actively playing Archery 🏹 at his age and has won several trophies, he proudly displayed his photographs with me.👍He will be back to game soon.
*** I always keep high regards to senior citizens & always seek blessings. 🙏💐

"Serving with Pride and Dignity"
*** We could do challenging successful operation on Military engineering service, GREF personal from Jharkhand with blockages of all the three arteries of his heart, he is serving Sikkim since 2005 with posting in different parts of border states of India and Bhutan.
** Operation done yesterday only, he is doing fine today. Excellent recovery.

Unimaginable life saved, first time of such fatality in my career.
*** Heart rupture after Heart attack and Cardiac arrest, dying with zero BP, slowing respiration.
Attend him, I asked his son, he is dying now if he can believe me and allow me, I'll take up for his operation, some chance of survival is there, he immediately said yes, ...... .... now today after 6 months he is doing all his household works, farming.
I thanked his son for believing me & shared credits with him, almost miracle in our life. 🫶🙏

It is a great honour to meet my inspiration, Dr. K R Balakrishnan Sir, a renowned Heart Transplant Surgeon from Chennai with a record of the highest heart Transplantations in Asia. He is so humble and gracious, and we met at Gangtok.

A challenging endeavor of achievement for 43 years, brother from Soreng, with financial support from the Chief Minister's Medical Assistance Cell, he had large heart hole, known as Atrial Septal Defect with RVOT VT, suffered four instances of cardiac arrest.
👍 My efficient team of heart, we undertook 12 such type operations this week alone, a challenging task, which requires individual effort.
Thank you well-wishers & health conscious people for supporting our team.

Sharing crux & principle of treatment in our success in saving lives of critical ICU patients to training Intern Doctors from Sikkim Manipal University, Dr. Tenzing from Arunachal, Dr. Vishwika from Samdong.
*** I see my patients admitted under me daily, understand the diseases better & respons to given treatments, build up rapport and their faith on us then they becomes more complaint to treatment then success follows.

Thumbs up of satisfactions & confidence on saving Heart of 80 years gentleman from Kalimpong who had faith on us & came for operation of 100 % blocked artery of his heart and suffering, we could perform operation successfully at STNM Hospital.

** Full of knowledge on kidney failure & their sufferings , Our Hon’ble Chief Minister of Sikkim with a remarkable example of love and compassion by extending his support to kidney patients and even encouraging their families to come forward for kidney transplantation — fully funded by him. 🙏💚

He has nicely explained that our human body is wonderfully designed with dual vital organs, and while one may fail, the other can sustain life. Those with healthy kidneys have the unique gift of being able to donate one and give their loved ones a second chance at life.💐🙏
