Intra-School Quiz Competition and Awareness drive on Cyber Security concludes at Govt. Sec School, Majhitar.

The said event was organized by “The Cyber Warriors”, a trio of three young, dynamic and passionate students of class 10 studying at Holy Cross School, Tadong namely Rishal Pandey Chettri, Aditya Chettri and Sewandeep Sharma.
With an aim of igniting the young and dynamic minds of suburban and rural areas of Sikkim , the Intra-School quiz Competition is a humble attempt by The Cyber Warriors to widen the horizons of students in various schools of Sikkim on Cyber Security- as cyber crimes like bullying, phishing is increasing day-by-day. Addressing the gathering, Rishal Pandey Chettri; the Chief Project Director of the Cyber Warriors emphasized ways to stay watchful and vigilant over the Internet and to become a good digital citizen. He also said the students not to respond to messages of an unknown person and become too friendly with friends made over social networking sites.

The quiz competition was a two-rounded contest with written prelims and on-stage finals.
The team of Adarsh Sharma, Darshan Basnett, and Pranita Gurung won the quiz competition and were awarded certificates and trophies.

The event was attended by the Principal of the School, Mrs Tsheden Bhutia, students and various teachers of the school.

We in TCW would like to thank all our patrons, participating students and all others who supported us in successfully organizing this event.
