Dr. Pankaj Sahu, Assistant Professor, Department of Community Medicine, represented PA Sangma International Medical College & Hospital as the Nodal Officer for TB at the Northeast ZTF Meeting and Workshop on Drug-Resistant TB and Differentiated TB Care.

Nurses Initiative for Community Empowerment, Meghalaya organised a State Webinar on “Cervical Cancer” with the theme “Closing the Gap Through Prevention and Screening.”

Ms. Kilang Jamir, Assistant Nursing Superintendent, PA Sangma International Medical College & Hospital, was invited as a speaker on 14th January 2025, where she shared valuable insights on the importance of early prevention, regular screening, and awareness to reduce the burden of cervical cancer.

We are glad to share that one of the country’s leading nephrologists and organ transplant surgeons, Padma Shri Dr. Sarbeswar Saharia, Pro Vice-Chancellor, USTM, was invited as the Chairperson to chair the session on “Building Technological Resilience” at the 2nd Northeast Healthcare Management Conclave 2026.
