Any fruit which has a lower GI of 55 is considered good.

The most common question for every Diabetic is how to increase fibre in our diet?
We Indians don't eat many fruits - some of them are exotic and not easily available,
but majority of us are not in the habit of eating fruits as a daily routine.
Same goes with Dry fruits and seeds.
Yet eating Banana and Apple is our best bet.
Similarly we should incorporate Barley Sattu and Channe ka atta in our wheat flour can
be more nourishing and provide the necessary fibre.
Fortunately for us all chilke wali dals, Rajma, Chhole and Soyabeans provide the best
fibre content in our diet.

Managing your BLOOD SUGAR levels is key to Dabetes Management.
Apart from Medicine there are multiple factors that HELP YOU in managing your BLOOD SUGAR.
Remember your WEIGHT CONTROL is an important aspect. So is your FOOD that you eat daly.
Both Fasting and PP (Post breakfast) because it is the first important meal of the day - and
should always be taken after 2 hrs of your breakfast and after taking your medications to know
if they are within normal range. (Fasting between 70-100 mg/dl and PP between 70 -140 mg/dl).
The rough guideline is that they should be as near as possible to normal range.
If not you must make changes in your food first and keep your weight under check.
Remember eating more FRUITS AND VEGETABLES or LOW FAT WHOLE PLANT BASED DIET
is key to GOOD DIABETES MANAGEMENT.

As DIABETICS WE ARE AFRAID OF EATING CARBOHYDRATES- but they are vital for energy and satiety.
Moreover NOT TO EAT CARBOHYDRATES OR EAT THEM AS LESS AS POSSIBLE is A MYTH.
The latest thinking is that IT IS THE FAT WHICH ARE A BIG NO< NO< and the real culprits- of INSULIN RESISTANCE.
FATS MUST BE AVOIDED AT ALL COST. Fried or re-fried food is most harmful. So is butter, Cheese or Ghee.
SO let's eat a VERY LOW FAT BUT HIGH CARBOHYDRATE DIET for better Diabetes Management.

HOW TO INCREASE YOUR IMMUNITY?

Lots of people are talking of strengthening your Immunity in the wake of Covid 19 pandemic.
Can we do something to increase our Immunity?
There are umpteen articles and advices a dozen - but let me reveal to you my SIMPLE Formula.

Take a spoonful of fresh Lime juice, a spoonful of fresh Ginger juice, a spoonful of juice from fresh Tulsi leaves - extracted by grinding the leaves, and spoonful of fresh Turmeric juice and a spoonful of fresh Amla Juice.
If you cannot find all of these, you can do away with whatever is not available.

Take 2 teaspoonfuls empty stomach. You can store the concoction in your fridge and use it for the next day as well.

YOU CAN BET. Take my word for granted - this concoction - is the best remedy for increasing your Immunity. I use it as often as I can.
