Here’s the 4-day journey:
️⃣ Nahay Khay (Oct 25) – Devotees take a holy dip, clean their homes, and eat a pure satvik meal to begin the fast.
️⃣ Kharna (Oct 26) – A day-long fast, broken in the evening with sacred prasad like jaggery kheer and roti, followed by a 36-hour nirjala fast (no food, no water).
️⃣ Sandhya Arghya (Oct 27) – The most divine moment: standing in rivers, offering prayers and baskets of thekua, fruits, and sugarcane to the setting sun. 🌅
️⃣ Usha Arghya (Oct 28) – Devotees greet the rising sun with gratitude, ending the fast with blessings of health, peace, and prosperity. 🌄
