Dr Verma owes to his credit many complex salvage procedures of extremities, pelvis and spine in Indian and international patients with successful outcomes. The procedures routinely performed by him are tumor resections and reconstruction with mechanical, biological and/or combined modality using mega prosthesis, spacers, composite alloprosthesis, ECRT, and auto or allo bone grafts, etc. He is equally well versed with revision surgeries for implants, megaprosthesis, joint replacements and complex reconstructions. The challenges of limb preserving surgeries in childrens are well managed with options of specialised surgical procedures like expandable prosthesis ( tumor implant) and rotationplasty.
