The services are for all in both one on one session and in a group class format along with health and wellness educational seminars and workshops. Physiotherapy is a well-respected health care profession that uses evidence-based treatment methods to help clients restore and maintain optimal movement and function, as well as provide education on health maintenance and injury prevention. Medical Therapeutic Yoga (MTY) involves treating the entire person in respect to their physical, psycho-emotional and spiritual recovery. MTY assessments cover many aspects of the entire being to provide a holistic form of rehabilitation for unique individual needs. The BWC team strives to provide the highest level of care to their clients with treatment in respect to the individual body, mind and spirit. MISSION: My mission is to educate, inspire and empower people to create health by authentically sharing my knowledge, expertise and experience by offering individual assessments and treatments, and actively promoting the integration of yoga into our current healthcare and education system. Hey everyone, 🙋‍♀️

Have you tried this - DOUBLE TAP JUMP, great cardio and agility based movement. It’s a jump where you tap your thighs (or knees) twice in the air before landing.

This move 👉 Combines explosive jumping with core engagement and coordination.

Targets your glut, hip adductors, calves, Abs and obliques. ❤️

Here, is another powerful movement - Barbell shoulder overhead press which is an excellent shoulder exercise that builds shoulder muscle.

This particular workout targets - Anterior Deltoid, Pec major, tricep, upper/middle and lower traps. Also, It requires a lot of core strength to stabilize the spine while lifting weight overhead.

The global burden of spinal disorders ⤵️

👉 Low back pain is the single leading cause of years lived with disability worldwide, according to the 2019 Global Burden of Disease study. Neck pain is ranked number four.

👉 Back pain is one of the most common reasons for missed work. One study showed that back pain was responsible for 12.5% of all sickness absences from any cause.

👉 Studies have shown that low back pain can affect up to 25% of adults reporting low back pain in the last 3 months.

👉 Experts estimate that as many as 4 out of 5 adults will experience a back problem at some time in their lives.

👉 Most cases of back pain are mechanical or non-organic—meaning they are not caused by serious conditions, such as inflammatory arthritis, infection, fracture or cancer. It can be difficult to precisely identify the structures in the back giving rise to pain – which is why it’s often referred to as non-specific.
